Performance-Focused Vehicle Remapping
Performance that is usable on a real road is worth more than a number on a screen. Where a vehicle is suitable, we calibrate for stronger delivery in the range you actually drive in.
Health checked first.
Remapped properly.
What performance means here
On the road, the performance you feel is mostly mid-range torque and how quickly the engine responds to your right foot. Peak output at the top of the rev range is a small part of most journeys.
So a performance-focused calibration on a road car concentrates on delivery: how the engine builds, how it holds, and how quickly it reacts.
Areas a calibration can influence
On a suitable vehicle in sound condition:
- Stronger usable performance in normal driving conditions.
- Torque delivery through the mid-range.
- Throttle response and how immediate the vehicle feels.
- Mid-range pull for overtaking and inclines.
- Overall drivability, so more performance doesn’t mean a worse-mannered vehicle.
Why we don’t publish figures
We never promise specific BHP or torque numbers without genuine data for your exact vehicle. Results depend on engine, software version, hardware condition, fuel and how the vehicle is used.
Published generic gains are marketing. A measured discussion about your registration is engineering.
What we don’t do
No pop-and-bang mapping. No emissions-system deletion for road vehicles. No calibration that makes a vehicle unpleasant or unsuitable for the road it lives on.
If a customer wants a vehicle pushed beyond what we consider sensible for its condition, we will say no.
The Pre-Remap Health Check comes first
Before any calibration work begins, we carry out relevant diagnostic and vehicle-condition checks. The exact checks depend on the vehicle, engine, diagnostic information and any known concerns.
If the vehicle is not in the right condition for remapping, we do not continue with the calibration until the issue has been addressed. That is the part of our process customers tend to remember: vehicle condition first, remapping second.
