Before we travel
The first stage happens off the vehicle. We review your registration and details to establish what calibration options genuinely exist for that exact vehicle and software, and whether anything you have told us needs investigating first.
At the vehicle
Depending on the vehicle, the areas we may consider include diagnostic trouble codes, warning lights, general engine condition, turbocharger and boost-related behaviour, fuel-system and cooling-system concerns, gearbox and clutch considerations, emissions-system faults, and evidence of deferred maintenance.
The exact checks depend on the vehicle, engine, diagnostic information and any known concerns.
What it is not
It is not a full mechanical inspection of the entire vehicle, and not every vehicle receives every possible test. It is a suitability assessment focused on the systems a calibration relies on.
If something is found
We stop and explain it in plain terms, then advise on the appropriate next step. Calibration waits until the issue has been addressed.
Vehicle condition first. Remapping second.
